Boots, bows, and merlots.: The Perfect Pair...

Wow....we have had a very exciting month that has been overflowing with blessings. I am beginning to feel much better and seem to have gained some control over what I like to call the "Great Sickness." Rhy has even stopped pretending to throw up! Yay! We will find out in about two weeks if the baby is a boy or a girl. I am thrilled to know which direction I will be heading with the nursery and if the Braaten Girl Trend will be broken.

One BIG EVENT that also happened this month is that my precious sister Logan got ENGAGED!!!! Her sweet boyfriend Taylor pulled off the perfect proposal and gave her the ring of her dreams. Logan was in Carmel for work and had been there for about two months. A few days before she was heading back to the heat of Texas sweet Tay-Tay surprised her on the beach with a gorgeous rose gold engagement ring. She was completely shocked and thrilled to pieces. Logan came home from Carmel the Friday after her Tuesday engagement and could not wait to show us all her ring and celebrate. She was highly disappointed because we were all very busy and couldn't get together. What she didn't realize is that the reason we were all so busy was that we were putting the final touches on her surprise engagement party. The party went off without and hitch and was a huge success. The theme for the party was The Perfect Pair, which of course describes Logan and Taylor exactly.
